We'll have springtime conditions in the mountains through this week without much threat of avalanche danger.
We'll see the snow lock up during the cool nights and get wet during the day.
The main avalanche concern to keep in mind is that if you find yourself punching deep into wet, slushy, sloppy snow, avoid being on or below steep slopes. The danger is most pronounced later in the day when the snow is really wet. This is not a huge threat and there are generally not many avalanche accidents in these types of conditions. It's just something you should always keep in mind during the spring melt-off.
There may be one more storm at the end of the month and I'll most likely do at least one more update if that storm materializes.
